It's A Boy!!!!

I know this post is a little late, and I've already said it, but here I go anyway . . . We're having a boy! We both wanted a boy first and we were both thinking it was a boy, so we couldn't be more excited!

My parents came with us to the ultrasound. When they told us it was a boy I looked at my dad and asked him what he was going to do with a boy. He just looked at me and said he was going to suck "it" back in him and make him into a girl lol. My poor dad only knows how to deal with girls, but he is excited to buy him his first Angels shirt and hat.

So now the fun part begins. We do have a name picked out. I just don't want to broadcast it right now even though if you ask me in person I don't mind telling you. I know, I'm weird. We already have a lot of the stuff we need picked out. I'm just super excited and I can't wait to hold him for the first time!

Danny is still in school and still doing great! It does get hard for the both of us though. He leaves for work at anytime between 8 -9:30 in the morning depending on his shift and he usually doesn't get home until 1 in the morning. And my amazing husband does this 5 days a week. I admit I've had a few breakdowns. I get a little lonely sometimes. Luckily Danny is very understanding and doesn't get mad at me when I do have a breakdown. He is so amazing, and he never complains. I couldn't ask for a better husband.

I'm still working, but not for too much longer. It's getting pretty difficult trying to do my job while pregnant. I sure will miss those girls when I leave though, which is why I'll go visit often. Besides that I haven't been up to too much.

Well, that's all I have for now. I'll try and keep everyone updated! Love you all!

Updates

Danny has been in school for over a month now and he is doing fantastic! He has aced all of his tests and is really enjoying school. It is hard that we don't get to see each other that often. He usually leaves for work sometime between 8 and 9 in the morning and he doesn't get home until sometime close to 1 in the morning. I try to stay awake, but sometimes I don't quite make it. But being away from each other so much makes us being together that much more special. I love the weekends or the few days off he has that we get to spend together.

So I'm about 15 weeks now. My nausea is slowly going away. It was pretty bad for a while and I had to be put on medication. I had a doctors appointment today and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat again. Hearing it always puts a huge smile on my face and it's really fun to see Danny's face light up. So far everything seems to be going great. We'll keep you updated!

New Beginnings

I wanted this to be a really fun and creative blog, but I have a massive headache, and I'm super tired.

Well, a lot has changed in the Butler household recently. Because Daniel has sleep apnea we decided the army wasn't the best choice for him. He has now decided to go to school at U.T.I. for diesel mechanics. He actually started tonight. He goes to work in the morning and then school from 7pm to midnight. It's going to be a rough 10 months, but we'll make it through. We're both really excited because we finally feel like we are moving in the right direction.

We have some other super exciting news. We're expecting!!! It was a total surprise, and totally unplanned, but it's a blessing and we are really happy about it. I'm almost 11 weeks and my due date is May 3. Everything seems to be going great. I am feeling sick, and I seem to have no energy, but hopefully it will end soon. We are super excited and can't wait to meet our little one! Sorry this is so short!
